The update was successfully pushed to the production without affecting any service or disrupting the workflow.

Barcode scanner was tested in production for reading standard black/white EAN and GTIN GS1 DataMatrix codes with successful results and the same for inverse white/black EAN and GS1 DM code.

Warehouse management is back fully functional without any issues.

Currently barcode scanner only reads standard black codes on white background, which resulted in inability to read codes on some pharmaceutical packages which had inverse barcodes with white codes on black/other color backgrounds.

The barcode scanner was upgraded to rescan the code when no code is detected in inverse color setting to detect codes with not-standard color setting.

The upgrade should not affect any services as it is done outside working hours of offices that are using the warehouse management software.
